Ugandan Tips and Hacks
Ugandans are some of the warmest and most authentic people you will ever meet. Greeting them is not a one word affair - be ready to discuss details of your family, health and for some, your opinion on global warming.
Being called a 'muzungu' is not derogatory. It is simply used as a description.
You will find that with Ugandans, cultural influence is very strong. For instance, it is not polite to leave a guest all alone and so it is common for one to state a promise that they will return in order to leave you.
Also, you will find that a Rolex is not a timepiece but rather a very tasty and common street food (A MUST TRY).
No two visits to Uganda can ever be the same. It always gets better. Once you visit, you will certainly find yourself planning your next trip back and we will be here to receive you.
